How's that work, anyway? Elsewhere on the surface, Templars exist to cut of Mage heads. In the Imperium mages are the good guys though. Or that's what I've heard, anyway. So what do your Templars do?

We protect the magisters. Occasionally we must protect them from themselves.

So you do still cut off mage heads, just less frequently? Not that I give a Nug's nut about it. Never see many down here anyway. Occassional warden, or the odd apostate who thinks it's a good idea to hide in the Deep Roads. Those never last long.

Desperation drives an apostate to stupid lengths sometimes, obviously.

When abominations rear their ugly heads, the Templars are there to make them dead. However, Tevinter magisters have good control over themselves.

I myself am still determining whether this ledger belonged to a mage, either from the Circle or an apostate, but given how these appeared to be widespread across Thedas, it would appear unlikely.

By the Stone, this is unsettling. Back in Orzammar, things made sense. There weren't giants with silly ears, no ceilings that no one can ever touch, nor any talking books.
